What a year! MIVOR is sure many wish it had never happened. Dreams were shattered, families and friends were separated and society have been divided.
The year did not leave MIVOR- unscathed either. Despite the hard work and diligence that the new founders delivered week after week, the pandemic caused the delayed release of their vision and self-imposed mission.
MIVOR Milestones in 2020
Until late in the morning, the young founders worked on their website to optimize it and bring it in line with their vision. The team is very proud of the result they have created on their own and would like to take this opportunity to thank not only for the positive feedback, but also for the criticism, which has contributed to improvements.
The launch of the first collection, consisting of T-shirts with logo prints and handmade fanny packs. The collection was also the first big milestone in the history of MIVOR.
The company is happy to be able to call you the first donation opportunity, namely AIESEC- Giessen/ Marburg. AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-led organization that enables young people to gain intercultural exchange experiences.
Looking back, this year also had positive aspects.
One should not forget the cohesion that existed in the Black Lives Matter movement worldwide, even though there was a risk of infection.
MIVOR would also like to thank all the systemic people who did not have the luxury of staying at home and always having to be on the front lines. Even if not all the faces behind these people are known and they unfortunately do not get the recognition that their work deserves, thank you!
Last but not least, MIVOR would like to thank all those who have supported us, shared our vision and become a part of our community. Thank you!
